Class of 2020
Team Search
The Gemstone Honors Program's main focus is multidisciplinary undergraduate team research. Students propose project ideas and through a process of discussions, presentations, and voting get placed onto research teams. Teams of students work with an assigned faculty mentor for the next three years. The guideline for where teams should be in their research over those three years is outlined in the Timeline for Team Success document.
Gemstone Leadership Council
The Gemstone Leadership Council is a student group that aims to improve and support the Gemstone Program through three different areas: social events, academic support, and campus leadership. More information about the Core 4, GLC’s centralized leadership team, and the different Steering Committees are outlined below.
Student Engagement
There are lots of great ways to get involved with the Gemstone Program! The Gemstone Program is not limited to research and academics. There are a number of social events throughout the year, such as fall welcome festivities, Gems Formal, and more.
