GO Fund

The Gemstone Opportunity (GO) Fund is an initiative created by the Gemstone Alumni Board. The GO Fund provides access for current students to engage in unique opportunities and experiences to help them GO, enhancing the quality of the Gemstone experience and creating multifaceted pathways through which our students will GO change the world.

Help our students GO research, GO intern, GO travel, GO present at conferences, GO interview at their dream graduate school and GO change the world!

The GO Fund is designed to help students achieve their goals beyond the classroom and raise their vision to new heights by defraying the costs associated with projects and professional development. The GO Fund is available to all current Gemstone students in good standing with the university and will be available on a rolling basis as student interests and needs arise. Students can apply to use the GO Fund in a variety of ways, including:

  • Entrepreneurial activities
  • Conference travel
  • Volunteer work
  • Internship travel/transportation
  • Independent research
  • Interview travel/materials
  • Test prep fees/materials
