There are lots of great ways to get involved with the Gemstone Program! The Gemstone Program is not limited to research and academics. There are a number of social events throughout the year, such as fall welcome festivities, Gems Formal, and more. Follow the Gemstone Program on Instagram and check your Terpmail for the bi-weekly Gemstone newsletter for information about upcoming events. 

The Gemstone Leadership Council (GLC) is a coalition of student leaders within the Gemstone student body. GLC members strive to support students through the four-year undergraduate research experience and beyond through academic, professional, and community engagement events and initiatives. GLC is also dedicated to establishing a larger Gemstone community among incoming students, current students, and alumni.
