Brianna Lucas
Brianna Lucas came to the Gemstone Honors Program from the University of Louisville where she served as the Senior Program Coordinator for Student Leadership under the Office of Student Involvement. Throughout her time at UofL Brianna oversaw one of the branches of the Student Government Association focusing on Service Learning while also creating two new First Year Leadership Programs. Prior to that, she served as an Academic Advisor for the Exploratory Advising Unit at Florida Gulf Coast University working with first-year, undecided, dual enrollment, honors, international, and student-athlete populations.
Brianna is originally from Alexandria, VA where she attended all Alexandria City Public Schools and was inducted into the ACPS Athletic Hall of Fame in October 2023 for her time spent on the Boy's Football Team as their first female place kicker. She attended West Virginia University to obtain her Bachelors in Sport and Exercise Psychology with minors in Counseling and Leadership Studies. Following West Virginia, she obtained her Masters in Counseling & Personnel Services with an emphasis in College Student Personnel from the University of Louisville.
Brianna's favorite pastimes are traveling with her husband Kyle, trying new foods, and spending time outdoors with her dogs Chester and Mia.
